Product Description: This is an intramammary antibiotic effective against gram positive organisms such as Escherichia coli, coagulase-negative staphylococci, and Streptococcus dysgalactiae.
Indications for Use: This is an intramammary treatment for clinical and subclinical mastitis. A specific diagnosis of what is causing the mastitis should be based on clinical signs and culture and sensitivity.
Dosage and Administration: Infuse one (1) syringe into each affected quarter. Repeat this treatment in 24 hours. This once daily treatment can be repeated for up to eight consecutive days if needed.
In all cases, disinfect each teat thoroughly by removing obvious organic matter and dipping teats in a teat disinfectant approved by the National Mastitis Council. Dry the teat thoroughly by using individual cow towels or paper towels. Milk out udder completely. Using the provided alcohol pad, wipe off the end of the affected teat using a separate pad for each teat. Choose the desired insertion length (full or partial) and insert tip into teat canal; push plunger to dispense entire contents; massage the quarter to distribute the suspension into the milk cistern.

alcohol pads.
