Product Description:
This is an injectable solution of epinephrine.Indications for Use: This product can be used for emergency treatment in animals suffering from an allergic reaction to insect bites or drug injections.
Dosage and Administration: A dose of 1 mL per 100 lbs. of body weight, given IM, is required. Repeat one hour after first dose, if needed. In severe cases, the drug can be given IV using one quarter of the above dose.
Packaging: This product comes in 10 mL multi-dose bottles.
Precautions and Side Effects: Do not inject this drug if there is a brown color to the solution or chunks of material in it.
Storage: Epinephrine must be stored in the refrigerator.
Milk Withholding: Use of this product is considered "Extra Label" in lactating dairy animals; therefore, no withholding has been established.
Meat Withholding: No withholding has been established.
