Product Description: This product is a killed vaccine for use in the prevention of Potomac Horse Fever.
Dosage and Administration: Give 1 mL, IM, with a second dose of 1 mL given 3 to 4 weeks later. A 1 mL booster is recommended annually and at any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported and exposure to the horse is possible. See pages A905 and B360 for proper injection sites and for a recommended vaccination program.
Packaging: This product comes in 10, 1 mL, prefilled syringes with needles, and in 10 dose vial.
Precautions and Side Effects: Local reactions may occur if this product is given subcutaneously. Inject deep in the muscle only. Allergic reactions are a concern.
Storage and Shelf Life: This product must be refrigerated, stored in the dark, and kept from freezing prior to use.
