Product Description: This is an antibiotic-sulfa combination (trimethoprim-sulfadiazine) effective against a wide range of bacteria.
Indications for Use: Tribrissen 400 Oral Paste can be used in the treatment of general bacterial infections including acute strangles, acute urinary tract infections, pneumonia, diarrhea, wound infections and abscesses. It is well tolerated by foals.
Dosage and Administration: Each marking on the syringe (3.75 g) doses 110 lbs. of body weight.
Duration of Treatment: The usual course of treatment is a single daily dose for 5-7 days. Continue to treat at least 2-3 days after resolution of symptoms.
Packaging: This product comes in 37.5 g Dial-A-Dose syringes.
Precautions and Side Effects: Allergic reactions are a possibility.
Storage and Shelf Life: Store in a cool, dry place.
Meat Withholding: This product is not for use in horses intended for food.
