Product Description: This product contains hyaluronate sodium.
Indications for Use: Legend Injectable Solution is indicated in the treatment of joint dysfunction of the carpus (knee) or fetlock in horses due to non-infectious synovitis associated with equine osteoarthritis.
Dosage and Administration: The product can be administered intravenously at a dose of 4 mLs (40 mg). It can also be given intra-articular in the carpus or fetlock at a dose of 2 mL (20 mg). Treatment may be repeated at weekly intervals for a total of three treatments.
Packaging: The product comes in 2 mL (20 mg) or 4 mL (40 mg) vials.
Precautions and Side Effects: No local or systemic side effects were observed in the clinical field trials with either intravenous or intra-articular injections.
Storage and Shelf Life: Store at room temperature.
Meat Withholding: Not for use in horses intended for food.
