Product Description:
This is a naturally occurring fiber product containing psyllium seed husk and natural/artificial flavoring.Indications for Use: SandClear is for use in the prevention of sand colic. Sand colic is a common problem in horses, particularly in animals that are kept and fed in a sandy environment. These horses ingest sand while eating off the ground or grazing. The sand blocks the normal passage of feed through the digestive tract. For more information on colic, see page E120.
Dosage and Administration: For the 1000 lb. adult horse, feed 1-1.5 scoops (5 oz. scoop included) of SandClear daily with grain ration. This dose should be given daily for one full week (7 days) during each month. Reduce the amount fed to foals, ponies, and yearlings. Increase the amount fed to large horses (over 1,000 lbs.) and draft horses.
