Product Description: These are anti-coccidia agents that come as feed additives.

Indications for Use: These products are effective against coccidia (Eimeria ovina, E. crandallis, E. ovinoidalis, E. parva, and E. intricata) infections.

Bovatec is not approved for use in goats. Refer to extra-label drug use.

Rumensin is not approved for use in sheep. Refer to extra-label drug use.

Dosage and Administration:
Lasalocid: For coccidiosis, provide 20-30 grams per ton of feed. Give no less than 15 mg and no more than 70 mg per head per day.

Monensin: For coccidiosis, provide 20 grams per ton of feed.

Precautions and Side Effects: Do not use these products in lactating animals. These products can be fatal if fed to horses. They can also be fatal to ruminants if mixing errors have occurred.

Milk Withholding: Not established

Meat Withholding: None when used according to label directions in the proper species. Extra label use may alter the withholding.
