Product Description:
This is an injectable solution of epinephrine.Indications for Use: This product can be used for emergency treatment in animals suffering from an allergic reaction to insect bites or drug injections.
Not approved for use in goats. Refer to extra-label drug use.
Dosage and Administration: A dose of 1 mL per 100 lbs. of body weight (1 mg/100 lbs.), given intramuscularly (IM), is required. Repeat one hour after first dose, if needed. In severe cases, the drug can be given intravenously (IV) using one quarter of the above dose.
Packaging: This product comes in 10 mL, multi-dose bottles. Each mL contains 1 mg of epinephrine.
Precautions and Side Effects: Do not inject this drug if there is a brown color to the solution or chunks of material in it.
Storage: Epinephrine must be stored in the refrigerator.
