Product Description:
This is a vaccine to aid in the prevention of disease caused by feline infectious peritonitis (FIP).Dosage and Administration: Rehydrate the vaccine with the liquid provided. Use the dropper to administer the entire volume into the cat’s nasal passages. This is an intranasal (IN) vaccine and should never be administered by any other route. Cats may sneeze or shake their heads; this will not decrease the effectiveness of the vaccine. This vaccine is for use in cats over 16 weeks of age. Each cat should receive 2 doses administered 3-4 weeks apart and should be vaccinated annually thereafter.
Precautions and Side Effects: Allergic reactions are a possibility. Droppers should be used to administer this vaccine and the entire vaccine contents should be given immediately after rehydration. Although this is an effective vaccine, some cats may fail to develop a sufficient immune response to the virus. This usually occurs in cats that are incubating a disease, are malnourished, have a parasite infection, or are stressed due to traveling or adverse conditions.
Packaging: This product comes in 25 - 1 dose vials.
Storage: Keep refrigerated, and avoid freezing.
