Product Description: This is a laxative paste containing liquid petrolatum, cod liver oil, and soybean oil in a palatable base.
Indications for Use: Lax’aire is used to treat and prevent hairballs, and for the relief of occasional constipation.
Dosage and Administration: Orally administer a ˝ to 1˝ inch ribbon of paste daily for 2-3 days, then ˝ to 1 inch 2-3 times a week. See page B610 for more information on administering oral pastes.
Packaging: Lax’aire is available in a 3 oz. tube.
Precautions and Side Effects: A veterinarian should be contacted if the cat continues to experience hairball problems or remains constipated for more than 1-2 days.
Storage: Store at room temperature.
